Graydon,
Any update on those cuttings with the 3% IBA?

Nothing but the single survivor I described (and it's doing well). I did not have time to do it again this year.

Bummer, I always want to try jbp cuttings but never get around to it... probably because I know they are gonna fail... If you could get 2 out of every 100 to strike it would probably be worth it though

Graydon, are you going to try this again this year? I saw Irene bought some powder...Did you have any luck Irene? Did anyone else attemp this? I would love to try to root some Kotobuki cuttings, but I will only have about ten and it seems for best results one would want to try to root way more than ten.

Graydon and Irene haven't been here for some time.

As far as results go, 10 produce more results than none, but 100 won't give you any better results than 10. If you have them try it, it doesn't need to be MASS produced to get results, just numbers.

Shimp cuttings are MUCH easier...almost automatic. Anything that you stick in some decent soil (bark, perlite, spaghnum, 1:2:1) should root, from a single shoot, to easily pencil-thick, throughout the growing season. Just mist them somewhat regularly, give them morning sunlight and protection from the wind.
