Picea Glehnii [Sachalin Spruce] Seeds FOR SALE

Afternoon nutters,


I have 198 extra Picea Glehnii (Sachalin/Sakhalin spruce) seeds leftover after planting 100 myself. I am going to put 100 on the auctions page and 98 here.

I figured I would give everyone here at the nut house a chance to get them first as they are highly prized and hard to find! I know alot of you dont use facebook (I dont either, going to use a friends) so I want to give everyone a chance.

Plenty of time to start them this year if you cold stratify right away, or wait and fall sow and just keep them refrigerated until then.


DIRECTIONS FOR PLANTING
- Soak in water for 24 hours
- Cold stratify for 30 days
- Sow seed 1/8" deep
- 98% cut germination

I bought them from a very reputable seed company (they imported them from Japan), and the package says 98% cut germination.


When I plant mine I will let you know what I get! I expect high rates; they better be for what I paid for them! Haha

I was going to do an auction-like deal on here starting at $0.99, but there is not much interest so I will post them on the FB auctions where you can bid if so inclined!


But I expect them to make it to ~$10 plus shipping as I have seen groups of 15 trident maple seeds go for $5-$10 on there.
