@TooCoys @milehigh_7
I love this little bougie! Just repoted him (in a pot I made myself ?) about 2 weeks ago. He just keeps on going. Tough as nails. Bird actually knocked him out of that last pot and he sat on the ground for a day. Thought I might have lost him! Thanks for asking.

That one gives me a lot of inspiration for mine that's growing in almost the same way.

This was taken on July 5th, and it's grown tons since then. I'll have to take photos of it tomorrow.

How old is yours?

What have you done in the past to keep it this small? I'd like to keep mine small as well.

Small pot helps and you have to be willing to cut them back hard. They love the heat and will bud back readily when trimmed in the summer time. Some folks on here are real experts on these and have figured out when and what to trim so as not to cut off potential flowers. It is kind of hit and miss with me. I trimmed this back 2-3 weeks ago or else it would be full of flowers right now.
You are headed in the right direction.

Nice! If you let the leaders grow it will fatten your trunk. If you cut them back they will ramify to a certain degree. Put it in the ground for faster development or a larger pot. You can still get trunk growth in the pot it is in just not as quickly. People tell me my boughie has a slingshot type of situation going on that I need to address (it is true) but I have been growing this for so long I am not in a hurry to change it. That is something you may look at as well.
