Great tree!! I'm glad you ended up with it, though...the hackberry I got is smaller then this one and barely fit in my car.

It is 33 inches tall and 6 inches at the soil. The main trunk is 3" at the level just above the root spread.

Wow nice. What is a "rock" elm? I also want to see that hackberry!!! I'm a sucker for those as you know. Nice to see deciduous trees getting the love...

The seller was 80% certain it was a rock elm based on nearby trees. There is some winging to a few branches, but I am under the impression that can exist in species other than just winged elm.
