Great tree!! I'm glad you ended up with it, though...the hackberry I got is smaller then this one and barely fit in my car.
Can you start a post on the Hackberry...lots of photos.....I have interest I seeing Hackberry details.

Can you share some details with me? Trunk diameter a couple inches above the soil line? Height of the tree right now?

It is 33 inches tall and 6 inches at the soil. The main trunk is 3" at the level just above the root spread.

Wow nice. What is a "rock" elm? I also want to see that hackberry!!! I'm a sucker for those as you know. Nice to see deciduous trees getting the love...
