I need help in deciding whether to uproot these landscape juniper(also need help identifying species). First and foremost, I am curious if ya'll think they are even worth the effort? I have never dug up anything at all and I am pretty nervous about keeping them alive. I am in Jacksonville, FL and from my research, it is a good time to transplant junipers. Basically I need any advice and tips about digging these trees up and what containers and conditions to keep them in to thrive until the spring. Thanks a lot in advance and feel free to criticize the hell out of anything I ramble about (been drinking Michter's US 1 all night!!!).

I don't know what kind of juniper it is, but I would dig it up and graft shimpaku on it in the future.
I have 2 large garden junipers dug with Si Nguyen about 7 years ago. They have very nice trunk movement and are waiting for grafting.

It is probably one of the Chininsis cultivars so it would be a candidate for grafting, It's worth the effort and experience to do it.
