    Crust, google #16 silica sand then your zipcode. I garroontee you will find local suppliers. I used #12 for years, but it is so stinkin heavy, scoria and pumice are much better, drain as good weigh less. It is cheap though, 100 pound bag Contractors price is under 4 bucks. good luck

    sure ...lot of times always mediocre results, I stick to Japanese Black now, they can take similar heat, and are easier, more valuable, and better looking

    Good evidence BVF, absolutely full sun Best Shimpakus I've ever seen are grown by the Ishiis full sun, 100 % O and add a little smog if you can, it helps

    Ha ha good one...ever heard of Sandy Eggo, hasnt even been a frost here in the last 10,000 years. The epitome of mild winter. So. Your tree looks fine, knock off the browning, keep it in full sun for tightest growth. Water every day now until holloween, And go to SDBC, for more tips ...
