Try a product called Sultan and use a surfascent when you spray and you'll wipe them out. You could follow up in 7 days with a second spray. But if you get the tops and bottoms of the leaves then you should kill them all and their eggs in one spray.

As for the Korean hornbeam it's not a finished tree, it's a work in progress. I got it from another grower a few years ago and did a bunch of large chops on it. Got it into proper bonsai soil, akadama, pumice, lava, a bit of charcoal (Boons mix basically.). It still needs ramification...
