So how about it @Bonsai Nut, are you going to show everyone how someone can rescind their membership when they ask, or not?

Then why is it that when I even went so far as to ask to be banned, I never got a response? Obviously, by the posts that I made on this thread, I was lead to believe that I can't have my membership deleted... I fully understand why you wouldn't want to wholesale remove all of my posts because...

    First Brazilian Rain Tree. Advice?

This is one of those instances that you might have to break from the best practices and risk loosing the plant... like I said, I found that mine didn't like having their roots messed with. Before you do anything read this entire article... it might help...

"If it were mine", I'd stop doing anything... from my experience, it's probably close to 50/50 on survival, but there is nothing you can do now.

    First Brazilian Rain Tree. Advice?

From what I know most BRTs come from Florida area, so there should be plenty of people who have them. But what I meant was listen "most closely" to the people here in B'nut who are close to you in zone and climate sense. Many of us have them as an indoor plant, and that info might not be...

    First Brazilian Rain Tree. Advice?

Yep, listen to Robert... and just because it's not in "bonsai soil" doesn't mean that it won't do well in it, I've found that mine don't really like having their roots messed with too much, but that might just be a coincidence with a number of other factors. Once it's beginning to show good...

You could go to the tools department of Canadian Tire store or Home Depot/Home Hardware and find a cheap stand... one that you may need around the home from time to time... like these two. https://www.amazon.com/RIKON-13-913-10-Inch-Band-Stand/dp/B002FB74VU...

Relax Marty, you're likely to kill it with over attention than neglect. I don't find larches require more water than white elm... which some would argue is more than others, but I haven't found that to be the case. They love full sun.

I was wondering about the size (28x11cm)... there is a bit of into on this site about them. http://www.willowbog-bonsai.co.uk/store/tie-pot-plastic-trainer.html

The flaw in your thinking Anthony, is that not everyone owns the property they are currently living at (as we've likely read in the forums), they may be subject to having to move at a time that is not ideal to dig anything up. And, like you and others have pointed out, there is no one-size...

... yes, so sit in front of a door jamb and make a mark at eye level... then stand up and make a mark at eye level... measure the difference... for me, the difference is 18". I would highly doubt that anyone would do all of their work sitting as opposed to standing, or vice versa...

I have a jack made for the aerospace industry that has a mechanical cylinder similar to the one in the link: https://www.northerntool.com/shop/tools/product_200641751_200641751 The cylinder that I have has a 4 bolt base bolt pattern and the cylinder rod has a ball on the end of it (good for...

Oh no, nothing like that. I would have rescinded my membership long ago if I could have. The only really negative part of any web membership is the constant arguing and conflict, and it appears to me anyway, that Canadians are poorly accustomed to such a high degree of negativity when it comes...

I was wondering about that. I wouldn't make the top any wider than the diameter of the base (wheels)... Perhaps you could use the foot-bar as a way to secure some sort of locking device.

The base on all three are the same... for your purpose you are just as well off to get the one without the hole, I think they are a little cheaper. You don't need to have the drain hole like I do on my bench mounted turntables. I think there is a diagram in the "images" portion of a Google...
