So.. We are getting ready to look towards spring again. The shortest day behind us. Traditionally the time thet everybody looks at the fat buds of their Prunus Mume and decides.. Mine is the best of all of them!

So show them! Show the rest of us what we are missing! Show us your mumes !!

So sad. 3 years and not a single flower. So I will put up the first one. Let's create a showcase of flowering mumes!

I call this one "The lone surviver". This one had a bad borer attack in summer of 2019. In the 2020 growing season, only three new branches.

Not fair as I don’t have one yet. Just kidding. I am looking forward to everyone else Mume for inspiration. Thus far they all look like different in form and flowers. Wow so many different mume it’s impossible to pick a favorite as I want them all.
