I dropped a couple of peaches in the ground last year alongside my citrus and they are starting to bloom. Very cool :) I have a 4-way graft and a 5-way graft so that I have multiple varieties of peaches on each tree (and that hopefully they will come into fruit at slightly different times instead of all at once). Citrus trees are cool in their own way, but they don't look as nice as these flowering peaches :)

I too have a peach. We have had such an odd Florida winter mine is still in full leaf. No a bloom to be seen, no buds either. Looks like I'll be shopping for peaches this year.

Must be nice to have multiple varieties on one tree. There's only one low chill peach for my area.

Try this link for cold degree days required. See what other people in your area are growing successfully, look up their variety on the chart, and then buy anything at that level or lower.

Kinda interesting with my trees - first one branch on the one tree bloomed. Now another branch on the second tree is starting to bloom. I assume they will fruit in the same order they bloom :)

P.S. I should have probably started this thread in the "karaoke room" though if these peaches work I may airlayer off some bonsai in the future. I love peach and cherry blossoms.
