Sounds like a lot of fun, I never get bored around bonsai people. There are so many talented bonsai masters with different skills. I just happen to love the pure traditional Japanese style, that's why I like Marco's work, when you train with Kimura what else are you going to learn. I'm sure there are others that are very good at what they do, but I'll stick with my "Man" for now.

I met Marco during a demo at New England bonsai 2 years ago...the guy never stops moving or talking while he's working. I loved to see him do his thing.

Tim I saw the pm, I hope so, but not sure yet, but I do have a chance to see Sagnaro tomorrow night, along w/ Colin. But I hope I can make it down.

Harry I had the opportunity to have a demo and workshop w/ Marco 2 years ago, very oriented to his training, which was cool to notice w/ 2 demos w/ Isao Omachi this month, the way they work is very similar.

Great Bill I hope ya can make it.
Guess it might just be Shohin Saturday for me. I think there is a clause in my contract that if you miss an event with your teachers name on it you end up with a snapped off apex at your next class. By accident of course.
Rob n Dave ya might wanna check out your contracts as well. ;)

I'll be there.........and I'll be keeping a close eye on Dav4...lol.,,,,,Last season. I was at Ne Bonsai about every 2 weeks for about 3 months straight. Thought I saw and memorized where every tree was....However, Dave would post beautiful pre stock that he just picked up from Ne Bonsai. I would be like.. Where??????? Where was this tree Dave??? How could I have missed this one being up at the nursery continuously......In which he would respond....Oh, it was right out in the open at " such and such" a place....This year, I'm taking no chances...lol....

oh this don't look good. Don't think I've ever seen Dave in the Trop houses. We might have to get him a tour just to make sure he don't get lost in there.

Thank-you but "no thanks" with the tropicals...the only tropical bonsai I had was a fig I won in a raffle...it froze to death one fall on my enclosed porch:eek:. Oh, and please, Rob, leave the frog at home...I've wrestled with rottweilers that were less intimidating then that guy:eek:.

Well maybe the people should be worried then. Last time I was down they all appeared to be moving and very meaty.
With the special guests showing up it would be a sort of foreign cuisine.

See you guys tomorrow.
