Ok, I know I might sound desperate, but I just received several boxes of ceramic materials and I need to identify what is written on this of white powder.

What I found

Here is what I was told. The Japanese reads "frit with no lead". Frit is evidently phonetically transliterated from a language other than Japanese. My friend's wife, a native Japanese speaker, did not know the source of the word.


As I know nothing about making pots I don't know if this will help.
