Then you must not have received my email, your pot is in the batch for shipping this week. Late arrival and a problem with shipping calculation caused some delays, but things are back on track and we are catching up, meanwhile the pots are still selling really well.

Thanks Rick,

Will

Nope never got an e-mail Will. Didn't know I was going to get one, since I posted here, I thought you would reply here, not stirring the pot... just an honest inquiry as I will be out of the country starting next week for 2 weeks.

Anybody Else waiting?

A week has come and gone and I am still waiting for an update.

Hey Will,
I know you've told me (email) that you are tracking the shipment of my pot but come on.....
I'll have to charge you interest as you've had my loonies since July........anyone else NOT received your pot or is it just us north of the border types"

Gman,

Please let us know when your pot arrives.

Sure will, Will.
In a year or so we should see what people have done with theirs, some may not use them.... but I think it would be fun to see different trees in the same pot.
Cheers Gman

Gman,
Better get a drill out then if you want to plant a tree in one...this, to my understanding, is a collectors piece. Which means no drainage holes...or none that are shown here.

Thanks Tom, you beat me to it....

Yes, as advertised, these are limited edition collector items, scale replicas of a Ming Dynasty pot, numbered and limited to only 500 pieces. See http://www.aobkobstore.com/products/singleRSPot.html

Strangely enough, they do have four small (wire?) holes in the bottom, they are high fired, and no, there are no drainage holes.

Maybe they are trying to keep the lowered numbered pots South of the border... I know I'll be damn pissed if the number is greater than what I expect.

If you drill a hole in it, it would remove the chop and sig.
Irene

And No I have not recieved the ones from AOB, but I do have one that I got from Roberto when he came and did a Demo/Workshop here...

True, but one could drill out the wire holes, if they so desired.......

Why would you make a pot and then instruct people how to drill it out to make it usable??

No one instructed anyone to drill out these pots, the maker (Robert Steven) certainly did not and neither has anyone else. What was said is that these are collector pots and IF one so chooses they COULD drill them out. (I wouldn't)

Personally I'm using one as an accent pot and the other sits on my book shelves along with a couple antique pots.

I did, and have emailed you, and am awaiting your reply. I ordered on July 17th and have received no update since. That, and whatever "if not......" means leaves much to be desired.

As does much....

Your pot was shipped early this week.

For the delay, I dug up the lowest numbered pots I had and shipped them to those who waited the longest, thank you for your patience.
