Nice. Dig em up.
Are there any smaller ones? Could you get permission somehow to dig. Do they respond well to bonsai cultivation?
What type of Juniper? Never heard of New Mexico Juniper. Are these Utah Junipers? In this area there is probably a 20 mile stretch of road loaded with these Junipers! Granted, not all of them are as gnarly as the ones I took pics of but their out there. As far as how well they respond to Bonsai cultivation goes, honestly IDK, I haven't tried it yet. YET
They do respond the bonsai cultivation well. The pics are of a juniperus monosperma, which in my experience has nearly as dense of foliage as shimpaku, at least the lady's do the boys tens to have some coarse growth. They are also the second deepest rooted tree on the planet!!!Are there any smaller ones? Could you get permission somehow to dig. Do they respond well to bonsai cultivation?

Fifteen inches too big?
If they were 15", how tall would that make the grass? If these were only 15 inches I'd already have them at my house No doubt they'd be show stoppers!

I normally don't wake and bake because I'm an early bird, normally up and about by 5. If I smoke, the lady smells it and wakes up (she's not a morning person) so I generally wait until she wakes up what I giveAtta' boy, wake and bake yo'self!!!!
