Ok... everyone get off their duffs and post ONE LINK to a cool bonsai site. I've posted over 100 so far. It is really easy, fast, and will help the community.

Go to the links here. When I come back from dinner we should have 10-20 new links :)

Maybe I should have a link contest :)

Alright you knuckleheads! When I said post a link I meant YOU post a link. I want people to get comfortable with the process.

Just go to the links directory and you will see a menu bar at the top of the page. Hit "submit a link" and you can cut and paste the link into the box. Enter a description, hit submit, and you're done. The thumbnail will be generated automatically. The submission process also checks for duplications, so you don't have to.

Nut, you may be offended, annoyed, or perhaps flattered, but I don't go anywhere bonsai-related on the net anymore except here. :)

I am none of the above :) I would say you are missing out on some good content. I am going to be posting a lot of links from Asia soon - I have a lot of Japanese links. Anything I post will have a good deal of worthy content.

Just not much of a fan of content I suppose, unless you're talking about the content of my own collection and the collections of my friends, and the remaining untapped content of the wilds and the little nurseries around here where I like to hunt material. I'm sort of burned out on the whole internet bonsai scene - BNut is my last, tenuous, and thinning connection to that entire realm of virtual interest, I suppose.

I do, however, still come to the site linked blow to drool and shop from time to time. I'll put it in with the other links as well. :)

Exactly what I did do. And it was painless too.

Is there a link to the links page on the front page of the forum? I have to come back to this post to visit the links page because I'm not sure where it would be elsewhere.

Thanks!

A point of clarification I think might help with one of the links. The National Bonsai Foundation and the National Arboretum are very closely associated with the National bonsai Collection.

The US National Arb's web page is just OK in its presentation of those trees. That link is in the "pubic collection" section. The National Bonsai Foundation is located in the "club/Association" section.

The NBF's site has a lot better photos of the National Collection than the National Arb's site.

It might help to post the NBF's site in the "public Collections" section too.

Just a suggestion....:D
