Hatred and bigotry without borders.
My thoughts are with the victims and their families.
I organised school trips for nearly 30 years, mostly to Britain. I just passed the torch to my colleagues last year for several reasons, but I've always thought that giving the opportunity to young people to meet other teenagers abroad was a step to a better understanding of the "others". And in Britain, those of my kids who were in a British-Pakistani, or British-Jamaican, or British-Indian family were always treated as a member of the family.
The UK is the only European country (future ex-European country) that has a strict control of its borders (notes from a small island). so much for the "wall policy".
This show how a tiny minority of "self-victimized" people can lead a large section of the population to hate "others".
Unfortunately, I'm afraid this will lead to ore tensions between people, like the Brexit did.
Cheesy soundtrack maybe, but that's what I like to listen to in such circumstances:
