I didn't call for anything to be closed, I was actually a little disappointed...

I mean the discussion is kind of pointless. When I showed some data from NASA detailing the increase in temperature above the modeled normal cyclic range you disregard that data based on nothing but suspicion/conspiracy theories (and then have the gall to complain about platitudes). You have no alternative data.

None of the "data" you quote has been proven by experiment to be anything more than conjecture. Contrary to an infamous German, just because you keep repeating it does not make it so.
I don't have the burden of proof -- You and people who think like you do. So far all of the predictions made about Global warming, global cooling, climate change, overpopulation etc have not been seen to be what the predictions have predicted. This is the exact opposite of how the Scientific method works.

Yep Platitudes define them exactly.
You're still zero for however many points you have made.

The data is measured data since 1750. A model was made taking into account solar peaks, volcanic emissions etc and found to match the data until 1950. The rise in temperature since 1950 could then only be modeled by adding in the effects of CO2.

This is exactly how the Scientific method works. You notice some effect, propose a hypothesis to explain the effect, perform experiments/tests to validate the hypothesis - if successful then the hypothesis and results are published. Then other scientists try to replicate your data and the hypothesis is further refined, it's an iterative process which means, yes, there could be overshoots in either direction but the general trend is toward more accurate models.

This isn't really helped by the media jumping in to focus mainly on the overshoots.

So do you see any evidence that the climate is warming?
 
All you have to read is sparklemotion's "L" above "reduce wealth inequality...." to figure out he has communist views. And communism (small c) leads to Communism (BIG C) in an alarming number of cases. His list ....A through M ..... is all predicated on "someone" deciding what is the right thing to do. Enter Big Brother. Big Brother will decide every damned facet of our lives. Yeah, that'll work.

I am freezing my ass off here in Florida. It is about 10 to 15 degrees cooler than it should be this time of year.
