Went to a Midwest Bonsai Society meeting last night and got there early. Took some cell phone pics of their trees in display.

There were ponderosa pines, ginkos, several maples and Japanese beeches. I tried to include the name plates, but do not know if they are legible.

What a luxury to meet in a place like the Chicago Botanic Gardens! With great permanent displays, wonderful meeting space. Must be tough to drag people inside to get the meeting started.

Not that I saw. It was 50*, raining and windy. I think they will what until the May show to put it on exhibit.
Hopefully we can catch up at the show?

Missed this earlier...stunning trees. Those ginkgo...have tall centers for a taller flame...hm-mm food for thought...on developing mine taller on top. Those chi chi's wow!

Some beautiful specimens...thanks for sharing.
