Nice!
We never get snow :(
My son would love that after the weather we've been having. Every morning we have another few feet of snow to shovel. Easily the most frigid snow filled holiday seasons for us!

@Soldano666 it's totally crazy! Normally when it's colder than -20 it ain't snowin, but this year is somethin special! I haven't experienced dry snow like this since I was living in the Rockies.

Egzackary @Wilson lived out there in my early 20s, best snowboarding ever. Did you get to enter a tree in this contest? All my stuff was put away and never made the deadline, much like what vance explained. We should have the rules bent for those of us that have to hide our trees for winter storage. The top of that larch in my snow fortress really is the tree I'd enter, I can provide a pic from this sumner

I entered a spruce, and a san jose juniper. I wouldn't think there is a prblem to enter the tree, I mean it couldn't have changed much from end of summer!

I haven't seen my trees since the week after Thanks Giving. Everything has been buried. They are saying we might get weather in the 40's tomorrow which means I might get to see the trees.

Yea, green grass and flowers... ahh
I'm pulling mine out of the crawl space after 2 weeks today, and putting back out in the snow. Normal temps for the first time in over 2 weeks.

I might be able to work on my two trees tomorrow. We had one of our classic rain/ice storms, so I plucked the two trees out well I could. Tomorrow I am going up to a greenhouse, so I will bring them along.

We had a couple days of plus temperatures, so I worked the fatty spruce! I still have more wiring to do, deadwood work, and probably some more branch selection. I am happy with how it is coming so far, I mean I actually got to work on it in late January! that's a huge plus!20180128_144518.jpg20180128_144535.jpg20180128_145036.jpg20180128_145043.jpg20180128_145052.jpg
