I threw this one up in a couple of hours Thursday evening. I wanted to do something a little nicer but I needed to get a lot of stuff in the sun fast. It went up so easy and fast I may do a second.View attachment 179108
That middle tree...get that from Dasu Bonsai? I was admiring one similar awhile back. But...didn't wish to give up that much space wintering in the greenhouse. Sure looks like the same tree. Caught my eye from the start.

With my landscape the way it is...I have decorative bench/tables in places. So not all my collection is together. (Totally not the norm) But...make for nice places of interest on our back patio and on our deck... A few strategically set on ledges on the stone wall stairs and such...This one is my largest...at 7 foot long.

The misses is a KEEPER! It sort of drew me in...but it's extremely wide taking up much bench space. But...looks amazing on your bench. So glad I can admire it from afar. ?

Running out of space. Planning on disassembling the trellis and extending the beams through to 3 more posts. Mirroring what is pictured with a new trellised top and more filtered sun. Midsummer Abq sun is no joke!

It was windy today. Those white things are Siberian elm seeds which drop by the millions this time of year. It’s the pits.

almost thru with new conifer benches - grow out built behind it for in ground development (top allows covering for winter protection from early spring freezes - which destroyed a nice kiyohime last year)

still working on placement and needs mulch, stone walkway between benches. benches are 8, 8 and 12 feet x 24 inches.

Being in ABQ those Pergolas must be a necessity.

And then some. Even our most heat tolerant junipers and pines struggle in shallow pots mid summer. I can’t even imagine being into Bonsai in Phoenix! ? or really just living in Phoenix in general...??

It’s not fancy but it has worked for me
Like a charm for me. I put a railway sleeper on top. Excuse the mess. Typhoon aftermath

Had a little balcony bench for about 3 years. Really cheap and served its purpose.

Now I prefer to use cinder blocks with concrete beams. Lasts for ever stays as clean as you want. But also covers nicely in moss over time if you like that look.

I built another bench yesterday. This shit has got to stop somewhere! Maybe if I stop buying and digging trees I’ll stop needing places to put them.

I’ll try and get some paint on it next weekend.

Looking good! Hope you got some help when you go to move it! ;)

No kidding! I may need to borrow my brother's tractor/forklift to move it! I would ask my neighbors to help, but every one of them has a bad back or bad knee and I doubt lifting this would help
