No not at all, even after cooking for eight hours(on low) with no added broth.
Can google the recipe with Racheal Ray in the title.
Ahh man, I kind of hate Rachael Ray. I could probably improvise. My husband is not the biggest fan of chicken (his mom had chickens growing up, loll) Might try it with pork, but thanks.

Ha, at least you are trying. My husband can only make popcorn. My parents owned a restaurant, when I was growing up, so my siblings and I know our way around a kitchen, a bit. Nothing fancy, Midwest sort of food, but growing up in that environment , put the love of cooking in us all. To me, a recipe is just an idea to make changes as you see fit, to make it better.

I'm a real bobo: I try to grow organic vegetables, and have become a kind of "flexitarian" - I eat far less meat than i used to. But :

Sweet bourbon glazed pork chops.

Hmmm... Makes my mouth water. :p I'll get my "plancha" out for mid-June and make marinated lamb, and chicken kebabs. As the Iranians say "you'll eat your fingers" (approx. translation).

Sams club down here in Florida sells what can only be described as a RibEye pork chop. Inexpensive , thick cut and luscious. I either smoke in the BGE or if its too inclement outside 350 degrees for one hour in the convection oven. I either put Montreal chicken seasoning on them or marinate them in Jerk sauce. They are every bit as tasty as a beef ribeye.

Used my new smoker for the first time today....Just a couple chicken halves. They turned out pretty good considering this was my first try at smoking anything. I bought the Oklahoma Joe's Highlander at a flea market brand new in the box for $200, just too good of a deal to pass up and my old grill was falling apart anyway.
