In another thread, Si had made mention that he liked white pots for displaying elms.

Here is a current photo of one of my Seiju elms in a white pot. This tree was grown from a cutting that I struck in 1994.

Anyone else have an elm in a white pot they would like to share?

Cheers,
Paul

I know this isn't constructive, but that is a really nice Elm. Really well done. I love it.

Love the elm Paul! Finally got around to seeing it! Very natural branch structure. Love the white pot too.
One suggestion: maybe the tree can be a little bit closer to the center of the pot.
I will try to post some of mine later this week. Thanks for the inspiration.

Thank you for the kind words Si.

I appreciate you taking the time to comment my tree and providing me with some constructive feedback. Your suggestion is a valid one which will be explored the next time this tree is re-potted.

I look forward to your post.

Regards,
Paul

Hey paul, beautiful tree mate (so good i just broke my wall posting virginity ), i'm loving the bark and finer branch structure! I don't think the tree needs to be shifted nearer to the middle as the slant to the left balances the initial placement to the right. just my opinion tho. Oh also hi to everyone! u got a cracking forum here :D

hey paul, great tree. has this been container grown since you started the cutting or has it spent some time in the ground?

Hello Sean,

Yes, this tree has been container grown from the start. Due to the soil conditions in my area, I have never had much luck growing material in the ground.

I appreciate your compliment very much.

Regards,
Paul
