I don't appreciate how All the trees I seen from there have cellophane wrapped around the base to make it look big.

Yeah Kirby is training me well on all fronts,,,,I’m in my greenhouse potting up hinokis all day since 5am,,,,I don’t talk about politics anymore so I’m friends with everybody again. If i don’t respond to your private messsge then call me out on a post, that’ll get my attention.

Really? How so?

If he wants to come on here he can ask. It's an old issue anyhow. I know he's your friend. Let's just say he was less than friendly a time or two.

I suppose to me there seems to be... umm... similarities... In how folks get treated by them.

To tell you the truth, I don't remember the exact details... Suppose it's time to let things drop. My skin was thinner back then anyhow. Older me is far more laid back.

Do you have any examples of this? Not sure what you mean and I don't remember seeing evidence of what you are describing. I've bought trees from Mark both via photos/facebook and in person and am not sure what you are referring to.

At times I have wrapped rootballs in Saran Wrap after reducing soil mass, I think the last time I did that was in 2016, doesn’t have anything to do with tryin to make them look big, I don’t need to trick people to sell plants, Wrap your brain around the roots on this maple18009C2E-1F86-4661-AC5C-951109326C09.jpeg

Oftentimes, people are different in person than they appear to be on line. I know I am. I’m a lot more terse when I type, which makes me seem less “friendly”.

Kirby knows a lot about bonsai. I’ve learned a lot from him.

Meanwhile, Comstock has great prebonsai available!

Mark is friendly. He grows great starters for bonsai. He’s very hard working.

I wouldn't say he's anything less than friendly. I have/have had a couple of his trees come through my yard. You won't be disappointed in the material and he's easy to work with.
