I put in an absolutely beautiful JBP for my parents. It has a prostrate growth and a great trunk. I did a little root collar excavation, removed the top of burlap and twine and a light prune. (I lied slightly, i sourced the tree and had someone else plant it). Planning on eventually lifting the sides that are low to showcase the branch and trunk structure better. Anyone get into this?A686724D-959A-4A73-996F-ABE8DF2225DA.jpegCD0835B3-CFED-48BB-8705-151B73CCF879.jpeg1D9DACDB-D5D3-4AD2-BE02-2EDC454C765F.jpeg864645A8-BB1F-440C-BED3-F3E89CA0DA5E.jpeg

Great videos. You think decandle? I was going to mostly leave it be this season but have been undecided if I want to decandle/reduce candles or not.
If you've just planted it, probably a good choice.
