I’m not usually one for the smaller bonsai but when I saw this small tree while out scouting I had to have it! There’s lots of small juniper out where I collected this but very few with the great deadwood and character that this one has. Combine that with the movement it possesses and I think we have a pretty nice tree!

I’m expecting it to be. Not sure if it had a much better chance of surviving for long where it was so I figured no harm in giving it a go.

It’s looking a little rough but I’ve collected a couple small Junipers that looked the same and they did well.
Nice tree.
