What pot should I look for?
I was thinking square semi cascade pot, but it might look too deep if I don't let the cascade branch go longer.

Definitely not a semi cascade pot!

That’s not a cascade in any way.

Use something like what my trees are in.

Thanks!
I was thinking on letting the cascade branch go but makes sense what are you saying.
I will look for something like the one on the table. Thanks!

Is there a way to get the needles smaller? Kinda like decandling.

Full sun, shallow pot, ramification.

It looks like your branches are pretty straight. They’re wired, but it appears all you did was to pull them down. Use that wire to put in some movement. Side to side, up/down. Not too much, the trunk isn’t real wiggly, but SOME movement would be an improvement. Put side branches on the outside of curves.

There’s not a lot of taper in those branches, either. You get taper by cutting back, to a bud, and letting the branch extend again.

Atlas Cedar will bud back if there’s foliage.

Don’t pinch new growth, let it grow out. THEN cut back to a bud. You’ll get lots of back budding.
