I went a couple weeks ago and have noticed that no images of this show have popped up.

I will take care of that right now. While I did not shoot a picture of every tree in the exhibit, all the trees were nicely exhibited. The vendor room was fully packed with killer deals and the whole experience is very professionaly done. Many thanks go out to Bob Shimon with a lot of help from the whole club and special mention to Frank Bardella with some of my favorite trees in the exhibit.

Lots of tridents here.

As lighting changed so did my camera. I had to correct for white balance as well as detail. Sometimes I lose color rendition while adjusting for loss of light.

And now....this monster juniper. Probably the most outstanding juniper in a bonsai pot in the USA.

Some different angles. In the middle picture, thats Frank Bardella right in shorts and sandles, owner of this monster juniper. That tree is about 4 feet tall.

Just a few shots of the vendor room.

Last two shots are of one of three white pines Scott Chad from Lotus bonsai had there for sale. Many have commented they wish to know where they can buy a white pine. This one was just 2k. Pretty nice for 2k.

It was an amazing show. I bought one of Bob Shimon's Redwoods. Thanks for posting, Al. Here's a few more photos:

Great job recording this event. Some great trees. I like the white pine in the vendor section.
Your efforts are much appreciated.

It is hard to get a feel of how large some of these trees are. This trident maple forest on a granite slab was very impressive. I tried to get Frank to stand next to it, but he is rather shy. These trees are nearly four feet tall and the slab is about 5 feet long. The slab is on the floor.

Nice photos Al.
It was good talking to you at the show.
(The photos of Frank's big juniper would have been a lot prettier if you hadn't caught me in them...)

Love seeing the photos of Franks tree... I thought I had died and gone to heaven when I visited his garden last fall... when I saw that beastie you could have knocked me over with a feather. :)
