This tree never got a thread. It was received from Andy Smith. @MACH5 worked on it in 2018 during a workshop at @JudyB ’s. It’s since been mostly left alone to recover. Here’s before and after the workshop.
The wire was finally removed this past spring. With ponderosas being as as flexible as they are the branches began to move back over this growing season. I had the time to rewire and further compact it the other day. You can’t really see the branching in any photos with all the long needles. It will be left to keep growing and I think repotting can be the next thing done to it now.
