Message me if you are willing to sell me your deciduous pre bonsai material. I’m a teenager who loved bonsai for a long time but also I don’t have a lot of money so I’m only gonna buy from people who believe in me. My budget is $20- $135

Id look at internationalbonsai, check out their seedling catalogue for 2021. He has an especially good selection of deciduous material within your range this year

What are the ditch weeds which over run your area?

Mine are crabapples, pears, and siberian elm.

Red maples from seed bulk up fast.

Crank some stuff out of the ground in early spring and see what happens.

Yeah sure will do . I live in the pine barrens but I can’t ever find anything good . I go hunting like 2 times a week just to see what I can get for the late winter/early spring

Yep, I just didn't know if you were aware of that particular group, so thought I'd throw that out there. Happy hunting!

I grow Japanese maples, and a few other things, that I sell specifically as pre-bonsai and bonsai on ebay. They are all in training pots and between 5-9 years old usually. I try to set reasonable prices, but as it is ebay, some of them tend to go quite high. I will begin selling again in mid/late April under the same user name as I have here. You should easily be able to find something within your price range. I will have at least 100 trees to sell this year.

@Njyamadori and others, I have posted the first of my listings for the season. I have many trees to sell this year, so should be selling until June.
Thank you
