This is one of the trees stolen from New England Bonsai last month that was dear to my heart. I've been working on it for the past few years as part of our permanent collection at the nursery. It is a Virginia Creeper (Parthenocissus tricuspidata)that was started from a cutting in 1974. Currently in a blue tokoname pot (this pic is about 1 year old). If you see it or are approached about buying it, please contact me (bunjingi@mac.com). Thanks.

Wow John... that just sucks. Elandan gets raided every few years as well. Makes me crazy.

I'll keep my fingers crossed that the garden gets it back.

John, was this tree stolen recently, or was it part of the theft of several trees from several months ago(August?) that made the news and the bonsai forums? I saw the story relating that incident on NBC 10 out of Providence?

We just need to keep the word out on the streets. If there is no market for stolen bonsai, I would think thefts would drop dramatically.
