Sweet body... srsly.

I'e never tried shooting with tamron glass... how it is comparible to Canon? I only have a couple lenses at the moment, but they tend to get me what I need. Though I have to confess, I've been kicking around the idea of getting a 50mm f1.4, which is considered to be one of the best bang for your buck lenses that Canon has ever made.

If I decide to get a little more serious with doing photography semi-professionally, then I'll have to upgrade to full frame myself. At the moment I'm shooting a 40D... which is still a nice body. :)

I have been shooting with the tamron for about a year and I like it very much. The build is nice and the glass is amazing for the price. I just updated top the 50 1.4 this summer. It is an amazing lens and I definately recommend it.

Nice! I'll have to add that to my Christmas wishlist... I just got a basic 4 lamp lighting set up about a week ago or so... so I'm getting to play with that now... It's been fun to say the least, but I find natural light the most fascinating.

How long have you been shooting?

I have always been into photography for as long as I can remember. But really got serious when I came back from italy and wished I had a DSLR back in 2008 and thats when the bug bit me. Are you a member over at http://photography-on-the.net/forum/. Great canon forum and place to buy and sell gear.

I haven't been there for ages....forgot about the sellers section. :D

I got my first digital camera in 05, and the DSLR in 08... was the 7D your first body?

Nice... You have a great eye. I spent most of my learning curve on photographing bonsai. I'm slowly but surely learning to tweek photos with PS. But I am no ninja... I do sometimes play with it though. I painstakingly took a tree out from around a backgroud the other day so I could drop it on anything I want. It was fun... but it looks surreal. :)

I figured if we were going to keep having a photography conversation, I better drop a bonsai in it somewhere. :D

Thanks for the pictures and nice trident. Is there an easy way to eliminate the background in PS Vic? There are tools like the magic wand and what not but it seems to still take forever for me.

The tree is from the Pacific Rim... and they have cream colored walls behind the trees. So I was able to magic wand most it if, and only had to fix bleed against the table top and the pot... But magic wanding my way through the tree was a chore. This is why green screen is nice... then it's much easier. I did it the hard way. I was at about 400% blow up to take out every spec of artifact off the background that the wand missed. This took hours. :p

How do you tackle frost that covers your car every morning?

Yesterday, i used up a lot of spray to get rid of the frost, totally uneconomical.

Today, i used some warm water and took off the frost immediately. but i don't think I’ll work during really cold days.
