These will eventually get their own thread as they develop better.
The 1st 2 posts are from starter 2" pots I got in a 6 pack 3 or 4 yrs ago.DSC_6869.JPGDSC_6870.JPGDSC_6887.JPGDSC_6872.JPGDSC_6888.JPGDSC_6890.JPG
There's I think there's 2 pcs of wire on from last Fall, nothing yet this year.
There's some opportunity with this one yet, but I will up pot it again next year.
A flaw in the middle of the trunk looks better from the side as just a crick in the neck
but from the current front, it pokes a branch straight out at you mid ways up.

This one from the same batch of starters I bare rooted this Spring and planted over a small saucer or something.
Had I not bare rooted it, I would begin working on the foliage now.

This one should be a classic in time, from the same batch.
A couple before and after shots. Still in the rough, but it holds its own spot on my deck.

I spent a little time getting started on this one this evening. Working towards its 2nd wiring this year is my goal.

Needs a little bit more thinning and the next 2 wirings will help a lot.

Correction, 4+, maybe 5 yrs ago 2016
Tag reads 2016 Starter Pack
Pot 2019
ER (emergency repot) 5/29/20 (when the wind blew it off the railing
busting the bonsai pot it was in. Had to stop at HD on my way home next day
and this pot was the only thing I found that would fit after I drilled it out.
Now it's coming apart and will be repotted next Spring. I wanted to repot this year
but it needed thinning more than potting up I felt.

This next one from this batch is the best documented, and the tag dialed the history in on these better.
Of the 6, this one has the best looking nebari

Without wire, this is the best I can do for now. I will let these recover before I get in there again.
I did a considerable amount of thinning on this one today. Should have its own thread next April/May,
but since it's part of the 6 pack the others came in, I post it here with them at this point.
I know I have a picture or video of the starter pack after a couple of years somewhere, can't find it yet.
