Styling Advice for Fukien Tea

Hi everyone,

I bought this fukien tea about a month ago. It wasn't looking too good when I got it but it's growing very well now.
I'm looking for styling advice because I feel it's too lanky but don't really know what to do with it. There's some inverse taper happening where all the branches meet so I'd like to lose one of the two leaders, and then some sort of informal upright? Suggestions? I don't have a ton of experience but I'm open to ideas. What would you do if this was yours?

Thank you!

If it's growing healthy than I'd just get used to what that is for a while, then get ready for it to change when you winter it.

Welcome to Crazy!

Then I'd layer off all the tops in this order..

So by the time you get to 3-5, which you've been managing to prevent further things you don't like, you have it down well.

That way you can throw out that interpretation of a hole in one with a slow flagman, or continue it's development as that novelty.

Thanks, glad to be here!

So are you suggesting I layer the branches during winter? And then I'd be basically starting over with a stump? I like that idea.

Personally, i think you have to commit to one of those trunks
