Pomegranate leaves have black spots? (Help with identification)

I’ve had a quick look online and it’s suggested to be a fungal issue but it’s not too clear to me. Is anyone able to identify what this is?

Let us suppose it is a fungal infection.

Standard operating procedure is to remove the infected tissue (those two leaves) and spray (with your chosen fungicide).

I ended up taking a lot of leaves off since more were showing these brown/black spots and I’ve sprayed it. Hopefully it’ll be fine now, thank you:)
