Finally I decided to build something as the small individual tables were crowded and starting to fail. I used Blender 3D to draw up some plans. I made some on fly changes that worked out food.

2. Assembly went fairly quick

3. Primer, paint for the base and dark and gunstock stain for the top finishing with a clear coat

Very nice job, I'll to give your HD list to my husband. He has lots of tools he doesn't use. Your pup reminds me of our dog Sandy R.I.P.

Thanks. The build was rather straight forward as you can tell the parts list is short. I can’t believe he has unused tools - I bet he loves to start the up though, I do. Measure twice cut once. The top stain is Gunstock. I love the color.

My dog is named Sam. He is a German Shepherd and Ridge Back mix. His is 10 and today we almost lost him. He took off after some young coyotes and we couldn’t find him for many hours. The is a great watch dog and people lover.

Scary, but glad you found him. Ours was a shepherd/lab mix, smart as a whip. He played outfield when my husband played ball with the kids, allowing me to just sit and watch.😉

Seems like Sam is providing adequate supervision and making sure you got the job done right

That is the plan but my wife thinks less is more. I’m not sure what she means. 😀
I have to agree with her, having less on the bench helps each tree stand out. So by my guesstimates, you'll need three more benches by Tuesday to umm space them out...😉

I went to the park and saw these. They look super sturdy. I might make some similar but much longer. The plans in this thread actually look pretty close. These were holding ice sculptures.
