Hey everybody!

I am excited to have discovered this site in it's infancy and be able to watch, and be a part of it's growing (pun intended) community.

I live in Austin, Texas and have been into bonsai for only one year now. I've made all of the typical mistakes but have stuck with it. There are some great bonsai nurseries here and a wonderful bonsai club (Austin Bonsai Society) that I have joined and even become a board member.

My avatar is of a collected Ashe juniper that was styled by Cheryl Manning at a recent demo that she did here. I was lucky enough to win the raffle and it is now one of my favorite trees. I have quite a few other trees that are in various stages of development but very few would I have the nerve to call "bonsai" yet!

I don't take bonsai lightly but I am light hearted about it!

Thank you for starting this site and I look forward to both contributing and learning what I can here.

Regards,
Mike Watson

Thanks Tom.

I visited your website and noticed that you carry Erin pottery. To me, some of the most unique and beautiful pottery available.

Cheers!

Mike

Welcome Mike;

Glad to have your enthusiasm onboard! Maybe you can bring some of that to the West Coast where it was 55 degrees today :rolleyes:

LOL! I wish I could but it was 45 degrees here today. It's expected to get into the mid 20s tomorrow night through Wednesday!:eek:

Happy to be onboard.
