Came across a website “americanbonsaisupply”. They sell “root hogs” which are customizable air pots. Can customize the width and height.
Only issue is everything has zero reviews, and the “about” section is blank. I can’t find the roothogs pots available anywhere else either.

They are same as Root Makers
I have used both with good results. The American Bonsai product is easier because I don't have to cut them down myself. Use zip ties to assemble them, not the included clip things.
An unadvertised advantage is the ease of un-potting. I cut the ties and unwrap the vertical pot sides leaving the root mass sitting on the base. No more holding trees up-side-down and banging on the pot.

Their tools are very nice, our club buys tools and wire from them annually (big group order). Solid company, don't have any experience with these pots, but I can recommend the company.

I have purchased a lot of tools from them. I can't speak to many of their other products but I love their tools.

I've only ever used their substrate so I don't know how they compare to other vendors. I use their lava, pumice, and ultra de mostly. I have used their charcoal and pine bark as well.

I xannot speak to their pots but I love their tools and soils. Their phone line is great for asking any questions as well.

Their soil choices look good and I like the smaller sizes for smaller trees, but the freight is a killer unless you buy $200.00 or more. Bonsai Jacks is a little more for the mix, but always free freight. No comparison in final price.

I ordered a bunch of tools from them recently. I can tell you that the tools are great, but it took almost a month and several unanswered emails and phone calls to get them. Sadly I won’t be ordering from them again.

Unfortunately that was my experience with a return and replacement, it took over six months.

But I finally received my replacement.

Agree,
No issue when you are buying a new tool or a new order.
Their customer service and call back response needs work.
