Someone gifted me a plant after I told them I recently started learning about bonsai.

I'll attach some pictures to this thread, but does anyone have any idea what the species is? It looks line a jade maybe? Or perhaps just some type of succulent...?

I'm very new to this hobby so I am far, far from an expert! Would this be a suitable choice for bonsai techniques?

I also feel as if this might just be some kind of dessert vine or something...maybe I'm waaaay wrong here haha.

Any and all advice is greatly appreciated! Thanks folks!!

The big one its Crassula ovata the smaller maybe its Graptopetalum, Graptoveria or similar
Thanks for the help! I figured it was one plant lol...show's what i know!

Would either species make for a descent bonsai tree in anyway? I've seen some specimens that look similar, but perhaps these are all together a different species....

Thanks again!

The Crassula ovata, aka Jade plant can make a somewhat acceptible indoor jade bonsai. I have seen some ok ones, but nothing really special. It needs better than average drainage and little water, especially in winter. Just google Jade Plant Bonsai images.
