Very cool. I think @Walter Pall has a twisted, contorted hornbeam forest that evoked a similar feeling of a dark or cursed fairy-tale type forest in me. I'll see if I can find it.

Wow, beautiful! So far I have only known about the Crooked Forest in Poland ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Crooked_Forest ) and inspired by that I started a forest this spring. This is Ulmus glabra, for some reason I have found many of these contorted seedlings in a local forest. Maybe the effect of late snow...?
