I have a few of my Stone Age pots I am offering up for sale. It has been a long process getting these made because life gets in the way of an already slow process. I was trying to build up some inventory but it dawned on me that many of you give gifts, or receive them, for Christmas.
This pot is heavy and bowl shaped with a dark metallic oxide patina. It is made of a stoneware clay body that has nearly 0% absorption and fired to cone 6. It is exceptionally durable.
Shipping of these heavy pots is not a picnic, and it is costly, so I sell them with shipping included in the price of the pot to anywhere in the USA. I have no problem shipping overseas and have had a lot of experience doing this but I can assure you it is very costly. International buyers should always ask first.
I am asking $95 for the pot shown here with shipping included for anywhere in the USA.

very nice texture~!
Thank you. I appreciate that.
There is not likely to be any more for several months because I am in the process of scheduling a complete shoulder replacement. If it had not been for my injury just after Thanksgiving, I would have 40 or so similar pots in inventory right now instead of two. Life goes on as long as you are making more steps forward than you are making backward.

I have been trying to think of how to tell my friends here about my setback, and you provided a doorway.

Sorry to hear about your shoulder. Just had my second knee surgery in December, so I understand your pain, to some extent anyway. Best of luck for your procedure. You’ll be back to making Stone Age pots in no time :)

Shoulders are rough. Had a reverse replacement last year after fall from ladder. Lots of rehab at age 74. Best of luck with your recovery.
Same surgery I am getting and close to same age, 72.
Surgeon was supposed to call me today to answer question I have about limitations after recovery. Will I ever use a digging bar again? Will I be able to shoot a rifle? Will I be able to resume my traditional archery? Will I be able to lift weights? etc etc etc
Most important, will I be able to play a piano? I would love that because I can't do it now. :D

I had shoulder surgery in 2015, it was hamburger.
Four procedures and my bicep tendon re attached.

I don’t shoot my muzzle loader anymore, I purchased a crossbow.

I have maybe 60 % restored movement now, but that’s just my personal surgical outcome.

Goog luck, make sure you keep up with the physical therapy.

Thanks, I'll make the best of it. I don't hunt but traditional archery is like a religion to me. Crossbows are like toys to me, but deadly toys.

I had replacement surgery early June 2020. Released after two days. Six weeks rehab at home while in sling. Six weeks outpatient rehab after that. Probably six to nine months before full range of motion. Today still slightly weaker than other side but only a mild ache once in a while. Don't sell your digging bar. You'll need it still!

That is one I have come to expect. Thank you for your input my friend.
