Moss-covered Rock pairings

What types of plants would fit in well with these moss-covered rocks. Maybe some kind of fern?

I can see a gnarly vine doing well. Something that would kinda squatty at the top of the left one, literally winding an ivy around the larger to the top, then you could fill gaps with clay and stick on other mosses and stonecrops, and ferns etc. My 2 cents. Cool rocks!!

I see a mix of ground cover with tiny flowers of various colors. Sedum isn't bad, but I'm leaning towards stuff that will barely peek over the top of the tray. Creeping thyme, chamomile, etc.

Don’t plant anything. Put it in a suiban with some sand and admire.
