Hello,

anyone know what is causing these two young maples to wilt? All 5 are about 3 years old, in the same sun location, receive the same amount of water and we’re all repotted in the beginning of April. The wilted ones are the two on the right.

Check bark at the base of the trunk. Verticillium is relatively common in JM just as the leaves are opening. Symptom is bark turning black close to the soil and seems to be more common if the pots are sitting on soil and have been cold and wet. If the black is not right round the trunk they can sometimes recover - try fungicide and keep the soil drier until it recovers or dies but if it's right round there's little hope.
