Well.. my last Procumbens was Vandalized.. thrown against a wall and pissed on...
I see your future bonsai purchase: Cattle electric fence and a sign that says:
"You touch my bonsai, you will get zapped, and the video of you getting zapped will be on YouTube and Tic Tock"

Bahaha.... I misspelled TikTok. That shows how behind the time I am.

I live in between 5 Bars (On THIS block!)

The area for my plants (Before the dilapidated shack next door was recently removed) is in a dark (at night) lil secret corner of the alleyway.. perfect for "Lets go back here and Smoke Meth/ Shoot Fentanyl" before the next bar.
... We used to find needles, crackpipes and burnt foil back there, too.

:(
Wow, I guess I always envisioned WI as the peaceful state of dairy farms and cheesemakers. I live in a tiny, mostly agricultural village and not too long ago they found a guy in his yard a couple blocks from me, overdosed on heroin. Very sad.

Yeah.. that's the "image" pushed...

And you can enjoy huge areas of Wisconsin, worry free..

My ACTUAL town/Village of Ahnapee, was votest the safest CORPORATE area to live in Wisconsin..

And there's been armed robberies within the past 5 years, and even MORE recently, that Murder suspect (Also FROM my town) driving around pointing a sawed-off at folks.. Pregnant Women gang-beat in the near past.

But overall.. MY DIRECT area is safe.. and friendly.. ...MOST of Wisconsin is safe, and friendly.

(But the people, no matter where you go are Cah-RAZY!) 🤓)

Trying a little water softening experiment as I have VERY hard water and this is cheaper than sacrificing my mineral water for the more sensitive snowflakes.

Well my collection is mainly American Hornbeam and Japanese maples, but I have a few airlayers going right now and I know one will look perfect in it. That’s the plan anyway, thanks again.

Punica granatum 'Agat' and 'Kazake', which are apparently grown for fruit in Russia so might do well enough here. Very young 'Kazake' I had previously rotted over the Winter, but Im chalking it up to youth, late growth and too organic substrate.

Not sure how clearly you can see this 1 liter of water but after 6 hours there is a load of stuff in the bottom. Now to work out how to drain it off..I read coffee filter but that’s not working well.
