This weekend was full of getting supplies and using supplies! Me and a family member built this new bonsai bench . We choose this one from bonsai empire and did something very similar but will later add 2 more boards of wood on the lower section to make a more isolated section for winter storage . Now after it’s done we will possibly stain it or not in a few months. It was definitely worth the effort and now I want to start focusing on developing good projects for the future .Please note on the next picture that’s not my full collection at all and I will definitely re arrange everything to make more sense .

Very nice. Now the more experienced people here will immediately tell you to start building your second bonsai bench. Yes, you will be needing another bench. :)
I think I’m good for atleast a few years

Great work and looks awesome !! I have just realized after this weekend, I have too many Bonsai on my balcony floor and need a new bench or I will not be able to walk around pretty soon. I’m definitely not as handy as you so mine will have to be found and bought. Once you get everything set up, you will have to post pictures of what the final set up looks like.

Yeah you can probably just put cement blocks as legs and wood panels on top . It’s definitely worth it and it makes the trees more “open” looking

Nice work. The stepped design is great for smaller trees.

Once you have a few that are larger, you might think about a a simple platform. The steps can limit what you can put on each level and some levels can get shaded out. A three foot high table allows more room to spread trees out.

I’m only developing small shohin trees right now and only have small tree plans . Also I can always put something on the ground in another spot if I have a tree that big

When I built the original of this bench, I made a second one a week later...needless to say, it took me half the time.
