smoke tree project

I"ve thought about doing one of those! Will the leaves reduce? I Wish you the best with it!

I have a smoke tree in the landscape and it is so attractive in summer and fall that I want to do a bonsai version. But i too wonder about the leaves because they can be really large. I'm looking for something to start with. I'm not digging mine up. I would love to see progress on your project.
