Your tree has good bones, let it grow for a year or two to get to know it, don't be in a hurry. If the tree lived in my collection I would wire it into a wider growing pot, then let it get healthy. Eventually I would eliminate the wrap around root. Once it has regained it's vigor I would cut...

If this has been newly dug and potted this is a great start. Let it grow back and gain strength. Eventually I'd want to chop it to the first curved branch. Cut off the first stub of a branch and go from there. All the new growth will be better in proportion and the taper would be amazing.
