8th U.S. National Bonsai Exhibition, Rochester, NY, USA, September 9-10, 2023

I attended multiple National Bonsai Exhibitions since 2012 and over the years the issues are the same; there haven't been any improvements. There are some extremely good trees and some that don't belong there. I asked years ago why; and the answer is that the organizer has political commitments...

    2021 National Bonsai Exhibition - Sept 11-12

I am glad I didn’t book a hotel or flight before knowing that the show was sold out. I never read that there was limited capacity anywhere and that the show can be sold out. I wonder how many people doesn’t know this and have travel plans with no entry ticket to the show.

    Kennett Collection Reduction sale

There were a lot of trees, and if you wanted to buy something just to buy you will find it. Including a $ 19,000 Juniper. The material that was available in my turn was bigger or expensive. The list of options I wanted was very limited, no Azaleas, no Junipers, no White Pines, no Yews, no...

    Kennett Collection Reduction sale

Another way you can do it is like Jack Wikle did two years ago. Buyer numbers were assigned and the sales process started with buyers being offered, in numerical order, an opportunity to select a bonsai for purchase. The second round of selection opportunities took place in reverse numerical...
