Either of these pots fit this tree

I like the second one the best. To me is pairs with the tree better. Looks more natural like the tree. The first pot is more cookie cutter and clean lines. Does not go with that tree to me.

    Are these Azaleas worth collecting....?

If it were me I would have collected them for at least to have them planted in my landscape. An azalea in full bloom is the most appealing in my opinion of all flowering plants. I have grown partial to azaleas I guess. Free is free. But each their own.

Thank you everyone for the information and opinions. I have alot of thinking to do and weigh out my options. I am glad to know there is a good number of people on this forum who know about azaleas. I think with being new to this hobby (few years now), i have alot more to learn. I am almost...

Giant Azalea!!! I am thinking Air Layering?!?!

Funny you mention a greenhouse. I was planning on getting one for the back yard this year Eventually I want two greenhouses one to keep warmer than the other in winter. How much longer of a growing season will I need to ensure there is a plentiful amount of roots?

Giant Azalea!!! I am thinking Air Layering?!?!

I have thought about taking the nicest few trunks to start with thoses then leave the rest. Keeping in mind i don't want to leave the appearence in too bad of shape. Then again it will grow back and fill back in. So i guess i can leave it lop sided if need be.

Giant Azalea!!! I am thinking Air Layering?!?!

I was actually wanting to be able to keep the Azalea there just air layer some of the branches near the bottom and back so I will not make big gaping holes in it. I will get some more pictures up shortly... I will take some when i let the dogs out again and post them. Right now is the time to...

Giant Azalea!!! I am thinking Air Layering?!?!

I have this huge Azalea in my back yard. I have thought that past 3 years living here to try an air layer on this. It has tons of massive trunks in there. Obviously you can't see them because this giant is in full bloom. This Azalea had to have been planted shortly after my house was built in...

    Variegated Vein Ficus prebonsai

I think the tree needs more cut back on the upper branches, but not sure how this type of ficus will react. What does everyone else think?

    Variegated Vein Ficus prebonsai

The first picture is before i wired and trimmed back the branches. The second two are after. Still needs some time to fill in but i think it will look better after a few years. You cant see it in the photos, but there is a branch in the middle fork on top that will be trained for a new leader...
