I bought one of these as well. Mine's actually in a heavy peat moss mixture and not their standard soil. I was told they were repotted within the last year so I'm leaving mine alone for a few years. I had the same inclination though when I got mine to put it in some kanuma. I'm not even sure...
Any ideas? I have tried multiple times to contact the North American Satsuki Bonsai Center with no luck. They do have nice Satsuki azaleas listed for sale but not sure how to purchase them or to obtain an account to log in.

Thanks everyone. I didn't even notice the varigated needles as I was too busy looking at branches and trunk line. I never even knew a varigated pine existed. Live and learn. Only $15 wasted. :).
