I have a euonymous already breaking bud here in NNJ. Going to move it into an unheated garage once I clear out a space for it. My two trident maples and a crab apple have not done the same though.

I will also vouch for Don Blackmond's packaging. I received an over 2 ft tall trident with lots of top growth. None of which was damaged.

Mike, I am actually in North Jersey. Just meeting someone in Baltimore prior to making a trip to OBX. Though I visit Baltimore 1-2 weekends a month.

I bought this ficus for $5 at a home depot about 2 years ago. I have taken TONS of cuttings off of it in the past two years without figuiring out any plan for this tree in the future. Pictures were taken directly after pruning, I will have to look and see if I have before pictures. Let me know...

Brian, the scat extends about 1/2 the diameter of the tree, will it really completely heal all the way around? I imagined it might close a bit, but if it completely heals over won't tree atleast be a seam from the old wound? It's rolled over already at the eyes of the wound as it sits right now.

I will be honest that I do not know The variety of cherry. Seems to be very similar to wild trees growing in many PA woods though it produces fruit and I feel like most wild cherry in PA do not. The plan is to let this grow in the ground for several years starting next spring. I cut back...
